La Orilla Trail, San Elijo east

 

MEET 8:00 AT SAN DIEGUITO COUNTY PARK

 

Take HWY 5 south.

Turn off onto Lomas Sante Fe Dr., go east. Turn left onto El Camino Real Park just off the road outside San Dieguito County Park Entrance.

We may have to carpool to the trailhead just up the road because there are not many parking places. The number of spots will be checked out while meeting at the Park.

No restrooms on the trail; If restrooms are needed before or after the walk, they are inside the county park that can be walked to or drive in using senior county park pass or pay $3.

 

Trail Is flat except for an uphill section -  Could be muddy in one section leading to the hill, wear old shoes
