BIRD WALKS--2016

We have scheduled 10 bird walks on the second Tuesday of each month to a diversity of habitats.  Meet at the overflow parking lot to arrange carpools and receive directions by 7:45 for DEPARTURE at 8:00AM. If the location is changed or there is an impromptu walk, members will be notified by email.

For your comfort, please bring sunscreen, hat, and walking stick if you use one.  Always wear sturdy shoes and bring water.  We have a pair of binoculars for loan, if you don't yet have a pair.  Further descriptions of walks are listed in the monthly OHCC Newsletter.  A list is also kept at the CLUBHOUSE in the "CLUBS" section.

Some of our bird walks are in a county park where there is a $3.00 parking fee. A free lifetime Senior/Disabled parking pass is available for SD county residents over the age of 62. The pass can be obtained at any parks Ranger's office, Guajome Park is the closest. A pass may also be obtained by calling the parks office at 877-565-3600 to arrange having one mailed to you.
